Could you elaborate? I'm going to enter this in a contest somewhere else so I need unbiased comments...

Sure, I really like the colors and it gives off a very interesting interpretation of the sprite. The shading is more noticeable and the lines look very fine. With the other one the color of the eyes doesn't seem to work well with the rest of the body and the tail looks a bit off and not attached.
