I cannot make the u with dots on it, but therefore, it can also be spelled as 'fuehrer'.

I could help you with German. I'm learning it myself. I can read it very well, although making sentences and building the structure of a sentence is more difficult in my opinion.
Anyway, there are several things I do know:

++++Basic

Yes--------------------ja
No---------------------nein
Please-----------------bitte
Yes, please------------ja, gern
Thank you--------------vielen Dank
No, thanks-------------nein, danke
Excuse me--------------Verzeihung
Maybe------------------vielleicht
Hello------------------hallo
Bye--------------------auf Wiedersehen
Good-day---------------guten Tag
Good-morning-----------guten Morgen
Good-afternoon---------guten Tag
Good-evening-----------guten Abend
Good-night-------------gute Nacht
See you----------------auf Wiedersehen
Be right back----------bis gleich

++++Days

Monday-----------Montag
Tuesday----------Dienstag
Wednesday--------Mittwoch
Thursday---------Donnerstag
Friday-----------Freitag
Saturday---------Samstag
Sunday-----------Sonntag

++++Numbers

0---------------null
1---------------eins
2---------------zwei
3---------------drei
4---------------vier
5---------------fünf
6---------------sechs
7---------------sieben
8---------------acht
9---------------neun
10--------------zehn

ok, that was obviously copied. XD (From my own site though).
I like to learn languages and put on my site what I have learned so far (or am still practicing to remember).
